Majority Determined for President's Dismissal; Foreign Policy Committee's Chairwoman Says

Socialist Chairwoman of Foreign Policy Parliamentary Committee, Mimi Kodheli declared on Tuesday that majority is determined to go through with the process of the dismissal of the President of the Republic of Albania, Ilir Meta based on the Albanian Constitution.
Following the arrival of Venice Commission in Albania to accumulate facts on this issur, Kodheli proclaimed that President's dipsmissal's process will be done in compliance with the Constitution.
In addition, she claimed that this commission thinks there is a violation on President of Albania's part.
Besides, Kodheli underlined that she believes of having done the right thing by reacting when the Constitution is violated.
"We are determined to go through this process of dismissing the President to the end, but always in compliance with the Constitution. Venice thinks there is a violation on his part, but we better wait until the end. We have done, I believe, the right thing that when the Constitution is violated we must react", stated Kodheli.
