The presidency has reacted harshly to the ruling majority's decision to turn down President Ilir Meta's third candidacy for the post of Supreme State Audit Chair, Petraq Milo.
President Meta's spokesman, Tedi Blushi, has responded to the leader of the SP parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, who said today in Parliament that Meta's candidacies are inappropriate.
Blushi said that Balla is right when he calls Meta's candidacies inappropriate, as none of them have ever been convicted abroad for drug trafficking, prostitution trafficking or theft of apartments.
"Balla is right that the candidacies proposed by President Meta for the post of Head of State Supreme Audit are inappropriate, as none of them have ever been convicted abroad for drug trafficking, prostitution trafficking or theft of apartments.
Likewise none of them received their high school diploma without completing high school. President Meta is incapable of nominating candidates with such positive records that would guarantee the opening of negotiations on October 18, 2019 with ovations from all member states," Blushi said, making irony to Balla.
Before Petraq Milo, the majority has rejected even Judge Vitore Tusha and his advisor, Bahri Shaqiri, as candidates for Heads of SSA.
